CVANY Provides Blood Pressure Checks During CBS Radio New York Expo at Citifield
More than a dozen CVANY doctors, nurse practitioners, technicians and support staff attended the CBS Radio New York Expo at Citifield, the new home of the New York Mets, and provided free blood pressure checks, held a drawing for "health baskets" and distributed information on "heart health." The program was part of CVANY's community outreach initiative focused on providing information on those factors that impact cardio vascular disease including high cholesterol, smoking, high blood pressure and obesity.
