"Grand Avenue Street Fair Maspeth"
With music playing, sausage and peppers grilling and the sun shining, more than 10,000 residents of Maspeth and surrounding areas packed Grand Avenue for the annual Grand Avenue Street Fair sponsored by the Maspeth Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club and Kiwanis. Staff from the Maspeth and Bayside CVANY offices was out in force distributing information on heart health and providing more than 120 residents with free blood pressure checks. CVANY Cardiologists Dr. Martin Kay and, Dr. Gregory M. Gustafson and Dr. Kaman Ng of CVANY's Maspeth office at 72-41 Grand Avenue, Maspeth were in attendance chatting with residents on the importance of heart health. CVANY is a proud member of the Maspeth Chamber of Commerce. CVANY volunteers attend several community events each year in Queens and Nassau Counties as part of their public outreach efforts to help improve the heart health of local residents.
